Dave and Teresa Robertson
In over twenty years of public service, Dave Robertson has been at the forefront of many of the issues that have defined our state.
First elected to the legislature in 1990 with Governor John Engler, Dave was an early advocate of property tax relief and participated in the fights that culminated in the passage of Proposal A.
A strong proponent of life issues, Dave introduced the bill banning partial birth abortions in Michigan. He further sponsored legislation, signed by the governor, which requires abortion providers to give mothers the option to see an ultrasound of their child.
Dave has been a consistent and passionate advocate for lower taxes, smaller government, and pro-growth policies. He understands that the key to growing Michigan's economy is in cutting excessive regulations, standing up for property rights, and harnessing the power of our entrepreneurial spirit.
Dave, a lifelong resident of Genesee County, lives in Grand Blanc with his wife Teresa.
